ALEX/AXEL needs the internet to operate. If for any reason the connection needs to be set again (e.g. he’s been moved to a new location; he’s been out of use for a while, or you just want to change the network he’s using) you will need to revisit his connection settings.
The easiest and fastest way is using the tablet that came with him as it is paired with ALEX/AXEL and so automatically accesses its settings once the setup page is loaded.
Turn on ALEX/AXEL and wait until the power button is green;
Turn on the tablet, then connect it to ALEX's WiFi (this WiFi will look something like Alex0123, ALEX-0123, PCS-0123, etc.). The tablet might say that there is no internet on the network, but that is normal. Ensure the tablet stays connected to the ALEX wifi during the setup process.
Tap on Google Chrome to launch it. It'll automatically load the setup guide.
Pro tip: if for any reason the setup guide doesn’t load automatically, just visit the website (http://setup.pcs.ai) manually.
Then follow the setup guide instructions to define a connection (cable or wifi) for ALEX/AXEL.
If you use a wired connection, simply tap on the Wired Network Connected button and ALEX will connect automatically. If you have the network cable plugged in but ALEX is still Disconnected on app.pcs.ai, ensure the network cable is in working condition.
For a wireless connection, tap on Wireless (wifi) Setup. On the next page, select your LOCAL WIFI network from the dropdown that you want to use.
Once the network is selected, enter the WiFi password and tap on Connect. Sometimes the connection process might take up to 2 minutes.
In some cases it is possible that you may not be able to open ALEX's default setup page on your device, and your browser might display "This website can't be reached". In such cases, you can also use the following address to access a different setup page:

Simply type this address into the URL bar of your device and select your local WiFi network from the dropdown.
