Once you’ve created your own patient (learn how to here) you’ll be able to personalize most any aspect of it by customizing the settings for the patient’s state(s).
Each custom patient scenario initially carries the details of it’s parent patient scenario and comes with what is called an Initial Patient state, which is the state in which your patient is when you start running a session with it. If you haven’t worked on editing your own patient’s states yet, start here.
To modify the conversation settings of your patient’s state(s), open your patient from under the Patient’s tab and under the States tab, open the state that you’d like to customize.
At the very least, you’ll find your patient’s Initial Patient State listed in this tab, which you can start editing away, by clicking on the “Open” button.
In the pop-up window, go to the Conversation tab to make changes to your patient’s conversation settings in this state.
Before you get started with editing, we strongly recommend learning about the logic of your PCS’s conversation settings, as incorrect settings in your patient’s conversation area can lead to your patient becoming confused and unable to answer correctly. Learn all about it here to get started.
