Your ALEX/AXEL has location-sensing tags under his skin for auscultation points. The SmartScope™ picks up the sounds when it is placed in the proper position over these tags.

Log entries are also created every time the SmartScope™ touches the skin at the sensor location.

When auscultations are conducted correctly, the event log is created with information about the auscultation point with a timestamp.

Note: all auscultation locations will provide the relevant and realistic sound that you’ve selected in the session control. The intensity of each sound will depend on the positioning of the SmartScope™, e.g. Aortic Stenosis will be the strongest and loudest at the Aortic point and realistically fainter at the other locations.
