How to Clean the SmartShirt?

Always refer to the cleaning instructions when the SmartShirt need washing.

  1. Disconnect Processing Unit from Shirt.

  2. Open the back zipper all the way for easier access.

  3. Turn the Shirt inside out.

  4. Open the bottom zipper all the way.

  5. Remove the electronics on the side.

  6. Open chest zipper on the side all the way up. Remove cable as you go.

  7. Open shoulder zipper on the same side all the way up.

  8. Carefully nudge pulse electronics out of the collar. Do NOT pull it out by the wire.

  9. Continue with removing shoulder touch sensing electronics.

  10. Open arm zipper all the way down.

  11. Carefully nudge pulse electronics out of the cuff. Do NOT pull it by the wire.

  12. Repeat on the other side in the same order.

  13. Remove complete wire harness with a total of six touch sensing electronic circuits.

  14. Place Shirt in laundry mesh wash bag.

  15. Wash Shirt in cold water, do not iron it.

  16. Replace electronics only when shirt is completely dry.

  17. Place on of the pulse electronics with a single attache cable in the cuff. Carefully nudge it into position within the cuff.

  18. Place cable from cuff under arm zipper and close the zipper all the way up.

  19. Place one of the pulse electronics with a single attached cable in the cuff. Carefully nudge it into position within the cuff.

  20. Place pulse electronics in collar. Pléace both cables going to this pulse electronics under shoulder zipper. Close shoulder zipper.

  21. Continue with placing the cable under the chest zipper. Close zipper all the way down.

  22. Repeat reinstalling electronics on the other side, starting at the cuff, continuing at the shoulder and the collar.

  23. Place cable under bottom zipper and close the zipper.

  24. Turn the Shirt back outside. Close back the zipper.

  25. Put on the Shirt and the belt pouch with the Processing Unit.

  26. Connect the electronics of the Shirt to the Processing Unit and you are good to go!
