If while setting up ALEX’s network connection as explained here  you run into the setup page telling you “Login required” yet you’ve already selected your preferred network and have provided the password to it, this usually means that the local network you are trying to connect to requires and additional authentication step through a captive portal.

To provide the additional login details, just click on the "Login required" hyperlink, it’ll lead you to the captive portal login screen. Enter the required information to establish connection to the internet. Once internet connection is live, the INTERNET status will change to OK and ALEX will be online and able to reach the application server in the cloud.
